Healthy Eating: Pantry and Fridge Staples

I definitely find it easier to stay on track and make healthy choices when the food in my house is a reflection of my goals. Here is a sample of my grocery list staples for my family

Fruits/Veggies
sweet potatoes
plantains
bananas
Avocados
fruit (this varies depending on the week but usually strawberries, blueberries, mangos and apples)
veggies (again this varies also but usually spinach, kale, onion, carrots, red onions, red cabbage, salad greens, broccoli, cauliflower etc)

Meats/Deli (organic when possible)
Chicken Breasts
Lean Ground Turkey
Ground Chicken
Wild Salmon
Lunch meat (nitrate free)
Veggie Burgers

Dairy/Frozen
Almond milk
Coconut milk
Organic Whole milk
Organic half and half
Organic Eggs
Egg Whites
Greek Yogurt, plain (Fage is my favorite brand)
Chobani Greek yogurt tubes (kids)
So Delicious Creamer
String cheese (kids)
Shredded cheese
Sliced Cheese
Almond Cheese
Frozen Fruit (smoothies)
Frozen Veggies

Aisles
Canned coconut milk
coconut aminos
Almond butter
Raw honey
Olive oil
Coconut oil
Coconut or olive oil spray

Steel cut oats
